High View Hotel

High View Hotel is brand new and has a lovely swimming pool. It is conveniently located in Karatu village just a short drive from the entrance to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Lake Manyara is only a 25 minute drive away and the hotel. The lodge is set near a coffee farm and commands an excellent view of the Ngorongoro forests which are just a short walk away from it. The rooms are twin or double beds with en-suite facilities and have a veranda overlooking the forests. Facilities include a large open garden, open dining hall, lounge with fire place, gift shop, local and continental cuisine, laundry services and local guides for walks to the water falls, coffee plantation and to the forest reserve. Other than the walks further activities include bird watching and cycling. The local villages are friendly and provide a wonderful opportunity to see the local rural life.

Lake Manyara Hotel is perched on the base of the Rift Valley escarpment, on the border of Lake Manyara National Park and has excellent views over this 330 sq km park with its dense equatorial forest and remarkable concentration of wildlife. Village walks are available or cover more ground by peddling a mountain bike past farmlands and acacia forests to the lake-shore with its abundant bird life. Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge

Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge is perched on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater at 7,500 feet above sea level (with a 2,000 feet sheer drop down to the crater floor), with spectacular and unsurpassed views over the crater’s great bowl. Its 75 rooms are centrally heated, and the lounge features a fireplace and panoramic windows that give on to a terrace serving as an observation deck for the crater below. Often described as the world’s eighth wonder, Ngorongoro offers the opportunity of viewing an amazing variety of wild animal life in a concentrated area with its unforgettable blue-tinted slopes, swampy grasslands, lakes, rivers, woodlands and hills. This veritable Garden of Eden is home to ostrich, wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland hartebeest, warthog, long eared foxes, jackal, hyena lion, cheetah, and the very rare black rhino in all, some 30,000 animals inhabit the crater.
Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge was the first accommodation at Ngorongoro Conservation Area thus had the preference in picking the best location, which boasts superb panoramic views of the whole crater.
 
The 75 rooms at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge are simple but nicely decorated and come en-suite with bathroom facilities. The lodge has four suites and one presidential room. Nine rooms at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge are interconnecting designed especially for families.

Tarangire Sopa Lodge

Tarangire Sopa Lodge is hidden among the kopjes, lies Tarangire Sopa Lodge, surrounded by ancient baobab trees. It is the home of the greatest concentration of elephants in Africa, and other game including the elusive leopard. Over 400 bird species can be spotted here as well. With water constantly available in the area, the greenery is lush providing a wonderful contrast to the burnt ground.Tarangire Sopa Lodge has 75 spacious rooms, all with a private lounge on entering with a mini bar. Each room is carpeted, has 2 queen size beds with a mosquito net around them. Ceiling fans keep the rooms cool and glass sliding doors that open out on to a balcony, with a great view of the landscape beyond, and wildlife can some times be spotted. Four of these rooms are suitable for the physically challenged. Relaxing lounge, bar, and fine dining make these to ultimate place to stay while in Tarangire.

Seronera Wildlife Lodge

Seronera Wildlife Lodge is located in the central part of the Serengeti. The building is almost entirely made of wood and glass around a natural “kopjes” or rocky outcrop.The spacious bar and restaurant have views over the plains and there is an open terrace outside from which to view the sunset. It is ideally located for observing the migration of wildebeest. At the edge of the Seronera River, this is the ideal starting location for safaris to discover and explore the wildlife of Africa: lions, cheetahs and elephants. Seronera Wildlife Lodge was one of the two original accommodations, hand picked and specifically built around the heart of Serengeti plains. This was done due to the abundance of resident and migratory wildlife that would often traverse the area at various times of the year. African Safari Culinary and Dining Experience At Seronera Wildlife Lodge is superb!

Rhino Lodge

Rhino Lodge is located in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and a few hundred meters from the crater rim, the Rhino Lodge offers quality and affordable accommodation in a spectacular setting. Its location is very convenient, being the first lodge as one enters the Ngorongoro Conservation Area from Arusha. The lodge has 24 rooms, each able to accommodate two people, with an optional third bed. The rooms have simple furniture, en suite bathrooms, with a hot shower. Each room has its own verandah where guests can relax and be absorbed in the dense green forest surroundings.

Serengeti Tented Camp is adventure in the African bush. Actually being right in the middle of the animal habits is incredible.
Often the wild animals will graze around the tents. This is a lower budget alternative to the nice luxury hotels and lodges.
