An early start with a drive to Machame gate. Begin trekking through the rain forests on a winding trail for 5-7 hours until you arrive at Machame Campsite. Overnight at: Machame Camp (3100 m)

After breakfast, leave the glades of the rain forest and continue on an ascending path, crossing a little valley and walking along a steep rocky ridge covered with heather until the end of the ridge. The route then turns west onto a river gorge at 3658m (5-7 hours). Overnight at the Shira Campsite. Overnight at: Shira Camp

From the Shira plateau continue trekking east towards the lava tower called “the sharks tooth”. Shortly after the tower you come to a junction leading to the arrow glacier. Continue to Barranco Campsite for overnight. (5-7 hours). Overnight at: Barranco Camp (3950 m)

Leaving Barranco continue walking on a steep ridge passing the Barranco wall, through the Karanga valley and the junction which is connected to the Barafu Campsite for overnight (8-9 hours). The two peaks, Mawenzi and Kibo can be seen from this point. Overnight at: Barafu Camp (4600 m)

Just after midnight trek past the Stella point (5745m) on the way to the summit, the Uhuru peak. This part of the climb takes about 8 hours. You have now reached the highest point in Africa at 5895 meters!!! From the summit descend to Mweka Campsite (3100m) for overnight, this takes about 5 hours. Overnight at: Mweka Camp

After breakfast, we continue the descent down to the Mweka Park Gate. At lower elevations, it can be wet and muddy. Gaiters and trekking poles will help. Shorts and t-shirts will probably be plenty to wear (keep rain gear and warmer clothing handy). A vehicle will meet you at Mweka village to drive you back to your hotel in Moshi.

Pick up  from your hotel in Moshi and depart for Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch for a full day game drive. Tanzania’s third largest National park is known for its majestic baobab trees that dot the landscape, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. The Tarangire River is the centerpiece of this park which is famous for some of the largest herds of elephants in Africa. Here you may see lion, leopard, cheetah, lesser kudu, buffalo, Oryx, eland, giraffe and zebra. Post the game drive, you will head back to your camp/lodge where a delicious dinner awaits you.

After breakfast, you will be picked up from campsite drive to plains of Serengeti. After you arrived, proceed to a game drive in the wilderness tracking, spotting the wilds. In the evening, drive to the lodge for evening leisure and overnight. Witness a million of wildebeests, each one driven by the same ancient rhythm, fulfilling its instinctive role in the inescapable cycle of life: a frenzied three-week bout of territorial conquests and mating; survival of the fittest as 40km (25 miles) long columns plunge through crocodile-infested waters on the annual exodus north.

Spend a full day in Serengeti mostly exploring the nature. Serengeti National Park, Resident wildlife numbers are exceptionally high in the Wagakuria area, with prides of lion up to 30 strong, however, from July to October the area turns into a wildlife paradise. The key feature is the Mara River and it is not uncommon to see the herds cross the Mara River north on one day and then back south a few days later. Please take note - to actually finding a crossing is very difficult and is sometimes a matter of luck.

You will have a morning game drive in Serengeti national Park. Then the safari to Ngorongoro Conservation Area will start. It will have the option to visit Masai Boma for a cultural tour. Make exploration of traditional ways of life including dancing, norms ad values. Later proceed with our safari to the camping. You will have long resting before overnight at the campsite in Ngorongoro.

In the morning you will descend into the crater rim for animal viewing. The floor of this huge broken crater is famous for varieties of animals. It includes the Big five animals. In the afternoon drive out and start safari back to Moshi.

Drop off to Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO). Our guide will Pick up from hotel and drive you to Kilimanjaro International Airport for the flight back home or Zanzibar.
