An early start with a drive to Marangu gate. Begin trekking through the rain forests for 3-4 hours to Mandara hut. Overnight at: Mandara Hut (2700 m)

After breakfast, leave the glades of the rain forest and continue trekking past the Maundi crater into open rolling moorland. The trek takes about 5-6 hours to Horombo hut for overnight. (Here, an extra day for acclimatization is recommended). Overnight at: Horombo Hut (3807 m)

After a good nights rest, trek past the last water point to reach Kibo saddle, a broad desert zone between the two peaks of Kibo and Mawenzi. Kibo hut is reached in 5-6 hours. Overnight. Overnight at: Kibo Hut

The start for the summit is made just after midnight. The steepest part of the route is to Gillman’s point (5700m), which takes 5-6 hours. Another 90 minutes of groveling through the snow, and you are at Uhuru peak (5895m) – the highest point in Africa! The descent takes about 5-6 hours to Horombo hut. Overnight at: Horombo Hut (3807 m)

After breakfast, A steady descent takes us down through moorland to Mandara Hut (2700m / 8858 ft), the first stopping place at the Marangu route. Continue descending through lovely lush forest on a good path to the National Park gate at Marangu (1830 m / 6004 ft). At lower elevations, it can be wet and muddy. Gaiters and trekking poles will help. Shorts and t-shirts will probably be plenty to wear (keep rain gear and warmer clothing handy).
A vehicle will meet you at Marangu village to drive you back to your hotel in Moshi.

Pick up  from your hotel in Moshi and depart for Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch for a full day game drive. Tanzania’s third largest National park is known for its majestic baobab trees that dot the landscape, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. The Tarangire River is the centerpiece of this park which is famous for some of the largest herds of elephants in Africa. Here you may see lion, leopard, cheetah, lesser kudu, buffalo, Oryx, eland, giraffe and zebra. Post the game drive, you will head back to your camp/lodge where a delicious dinner awaits you.

After breakfast, you will be picked up from campsite drive to plains of Serengeti. After you arrived, proceed to a game drive in the wilderness tracking, spotting the wilds. In the evening, drive to the lodge for evening leisure and overnight. Witness a million of wildebeests, each one driven by the same ancient rhythm, fulfilling its instinctive role in the inescapable cycle of life: a frenzied three-week bout of territorial conquests and mating; survival of the fittest as 40km (25 miles) long columns plunge through crocodile-infested waters on the annual exodus north.

Spend a full day in Serengeti mostly exploring the nature. Serengeti National Park, Resident wildlife numbers are exceptionally high in the Wagakuria area, with prides of lion up to 30 strong, however, from July to October the area turns into a wildlife paradise. The key feature is the Mara River and it is not uncommon to see the herds cross the Mara River north on one day and then back south a few days later. Please take note - to actually finding a crossing is very difficult and is sometimes a matter of luck.

You will have a morning game drive in Serengeti national Park. Then the safari to Ngorongoro Conservation Area will start. It will have the option to visit Masai Boma for a cultural tour. Make exploration of traditional ways of life including dancing, norms ad values. Later proceed with our safari to the camping. You will have long resting before overnight at the campsite in Ngorongoro.

In the morning you will descend into the crater rim for animal viewing. The floor of this huge broken crater is famous for varieties of animals. It includes the Big five animals. In the afternoon drive out and start safari back to Moshi.

Drop off to Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO). Our guide will Pick up from hotel and drive you to Kilimanjaro International Airport for the flight back home or Zanzibar.
